Things To Do

Wern-y-Cwm Farm (pronounced wern-e-cum, Welsh for Valley of Alder trees) sits on the Skirrid Mountain at the easternmost tip of the Brecon Beacon National Park.  From the 16th to early 20th centuries the area was sometimes English and is bordered by Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, but is currently proudly Welsh. The county offers a rugged and wild natural landscape, rich history, and exceptional local provenance. Despite being an easy journey from much of the UK, this stunning location feels like an escape to another world a million miles away.
