With everything you need already available on site and on the grounds, you could organise the best week-end for the bridge or groom to be, enjoying a relaxed retreat vibe or outdoor active get-together with friends.
Hen Parties
The farm provides stunning and eclectic self catering accommodation where you and your closest friends can unwind, bond, and create unforgettable memories. If you are looking for a wellness-focused getaway, a fun-filled weekend, or a mix of both there is so much to do on site that you will be spoilt for choice.
Start your stay by checking in to the luxurious accommodation where each room is unique and quirky - you'll be sure to want to see them all. Book a yoga sessions, the hot tub, massages and enjoy a dip and sunbathing by the natural swimming pool. Enjoy stunning walks from the door to the top of the Skirrid with views over 7 counties, or down to the local pub for a great meal where they are happy to cater for big groups with a little warning.
For easy catering order meals from our Farm Kitchen or book an extra special evening with our private chef and a banquet in the Great Barn. Dance the night away in the disco den or chatting around the firepits, toasting to the bride-to-be.
If the above is not enough, consider adding in a creative workshop, foraging walk or Gong Bath. It's so easy to organise a hen party like no other—one filled with joy, relaxation, and great memories AND we will help you plan the lot!
Stag Do's
If the archetypal stag party is not your thing come to Wern-y-Cwm for the "civilized" alternative. The farm is perfect for bonding with friends before the wedding. If you are looking for outdoor activities or a laid-back escape (or a mix of both) everything is possible here.
Local activities might include walking up the Skirrid from the door - a short steep hike. Head to Bike Park Wales for e-mountain biking (hire available) or a bit more rugged try Dirt Farm. You can find caving, canoeing, paddleboarding or event tank driving or quad bike hire if that appeals. Let's not be sexist here, boys love a pamper too; book the sauna or hot tub, enjoy the natural swimming pool, hot and bucket outdoor showers, or book a massage with our incredible holistic therapist.
Whether you opt for a BBQ, a private chef or book some delicious ready to warm meals from our Farm Kitchen, we can help or leave you to self-cater. With the best pub in the world a great walk down the hill there are loads of activities on site or in the area and Wern-y-Cwm Farm offers the best place for a Stag party celebration.

Everyone had such a lovely time, it is a truly beautiful house and in such a breath-taking and amazing part of the country! (We can't thank you enough). Every room was so beautiful and so well thought out, everyday we were there it seemed like we found something new to love! The farmhouse kitchen treats were delicious too - it would be too hard to pick a favourite item as they were all divine.
