Prices & How to Book
You may see Wern-y-Cwm Farm advertised via various holiday rental websites with rates that differ to ours due to agency commissions. Whether you book via a different website or direct with us, you will be booking in line with our T&Cs of hire.
Please check the availability calendar for each property below, then complete the booking enquiry form. We will respond quickly, but bear in mind we are a small business and may not respond out of working hours. Our availability calendar may be subject to change, as it is updated manually in some circumstances.
Dont forget to take a look at our Meals Without Miles prepared Farm Kitchen service. We will cook your order ready for you to arrive to freshly baked cakes, family feasts or dinner party menus, ready to pop in the oven following our instructions.
How to Cost & Book Your Trip
1. Work out your maximum number of guests to check which property/properties would suit. We are happy to advise.
2. Check the Calendar, consult your tribe (try to give them 2 date options) and make a booking enquiry giving us brief details of the reason for your gathering or holiday.
3. After we confirm the availability, we will send you the booking form and T&Cs of hire along with a deposit invoice at the Occupancy Level rate, holding the property for 24 hours while you pay the deposit.
4. You can confirm the exact number of extra guests, and any additional orders such as Hot Tub hire, Meals Without Miles food delivery or Firewood, when you pay the full payment, 60 days before your trip.
Wern-y-Cwm is suitable for family and friends gatherings, cycling, yoga & business retreat holidays. We regret that we do not accept loud parties, weddings or groups under 30 years old.
Accommodation bookings are subject to a minimum night stay of:
- 2 nights mid-week (Monday to Thursday and for last minute availability in some cases - please ask)
- 3 nights over a weekend (Thursday to Monday)
- 4 nights over any bank holiday period (other than Christmas Day
- 7 nights over Christmas Day
Prices are for any number of people up to the ‘Occupancy Level’ listed in the chart below
If your party is larger than the ‘Occupancy Level’, additional guests will be charged at £30 per person per night (the minimum number of nights apply). Z-beds, single beds or small pull-out beds will be supplied with linen and a towel.
The Great Barn rental is also subject to a minimum number of nights and the ‘Occupancy Level’
If your party is larger than the ‘Occupancy Level’ for the barn, additional guests consisting of any support or catering staff, short term visitors or day guests will be charged at £20 per person per day/part day. This includes food and drink suppliers, DJs, musicians and support teams.
If the Farmhouse and the Dairy or the Farmhouse, the Dairy and the Cider House are booked together for one big group, then the Great Barn must also be booked as a suitably sized gathering, eating and entertainment space.

- If you are a small group (16 people or fewer) and wish to book The Great Barn for a special banquet celebration meal, we may permit a single night's booking & are happy to recommend an excellent private chef
- Well behaved dogs are welcome at an additional fee of £15 per dog, per night
- The price for the Camping Field hire depends on the booking, please ask for details
- Seated capacity in the Great Barn is around 70 to include your campsite guests and a small number of non-resident guests. The vast majority of guests must stay on site
- A VAT invoice will be issued to all direct bookings. All prices are inclusive of VAT

The Large Print
Wern-y-Cwm Farm is a historic farmstead comprising of the Farmhouse, the Cider House, the Dairy and the Great Barn. We are first and foremost a private home and holiday let business. We are happy to take your individual property booking or large group booking in line with Planning Restrictions and Fiscal Legislation. This means that guests are using the property for a holiday, which could include multi-generational family parties, sporting or yoga retreats, creative learning holidays, company bonding or mini conference trips. We do not accept weddings. Should your group wish to have live music or require the sale of alcohol or other consumables, the booking will only be accepted in line with us obtaining the necessary Council Licenses. Please enquire for more details of our recommended suppliers and how we can help you plan your Wonderful Escapes.
Wern-y-Cwm gardens and farm land is managed with a strict sustainable ethos. The properties have air and ground source heating and our furniture, fixtures and building materials are, where possible, up-cycled or reclaimed. In view of these principles we request that guests do not bring balloons, glitter, lanterns or any single use plastic decorations or toys. You will find our properties are simply stunning and do not need extra embelishment. We encourage you to pick wildflowers from the fields and verges, but please do not pick flowers from the formal flower beds. Thank you for helping us to preserve this stunning part of the world.

25% down payment is due to secure your booking. Final balance is due 60 days before your stay. Refundable breakage deposit is £1,000 per larger property or £300 for the Cider House (or more depending on the event). Book with confidence that you may change or cancel your reservation up to 60 days before your stay.
NB: You may not book the Great Barn without the on site accommodation.
