Abergavenny and the surrounding area is revered by foodies, with local provenance every self-respecting chef’s priority. Encouraging a circular economy is part of our core ethos at Wonderful Escapes, so we launched Meals Without Miles to enable you to enjoy the local fare. Our delicious meals, cakes and juices will be made, where possible, using home or locally grown, foraged or neighbouring farm supplies.
Choose a treat for your group or plan your meals from our seasonal menus. The order will be found in your rental property with all instructions for easy self-catering during your stay. Our serving suggestions, shown in the images, should help with your shopping list for the sides and garnishes.

Summer Celebration Buffet
A simply delicious meal offering our vegetarian and meat quiches and tartlets, served with a couple of easy salads. Consider our pretty Raspberry Semi-Fredo, Gooseberry or Rhubarb Cakes for dessert.
Friday Night Curry Spread
A great meal after a long drive or possibly a trip to the local pub, with our vegetarian and chicken curries served with rice and popadums. You could start the meal with some crunchy Spinach and Feta Samosas.
Moroccan Dinner Party
Our vegetarian and meat tagines make a great dinner party meal served with couscous and simple sides. Our Raspberry Semi-Fredo or Chocolate Brownies and cream would make the perfectly scrummy desert.

Your order will be left in your Wern-y-Cwm holiday home kitchen ready for your arrival, either in the fridge, freezer or on the kitchen work surface.
Serving suggestions are not included with your order. The 'meal' will be supplied in a covered dish with warming instructions, where relevant. Our serving suggestions are to help with your shopping list and the styling of your order. The serving dishes are re-used and not included in the purchase.
