The Times Weekend - Why Wonderful Escapes?

Sometimes it's only when we stop and look back that we realize how stressed and anxious we were during a period. By mid-life, most of us will have been through the nightmares of bereavement, divorce, house moves, business sales, redundancy, nursing parents, and supporting children or friends through serious sickness. We tend to live off adrenaline when the times are tough and finding ways to cope is essential. 

Re-reading this article surprised me. I would always say I loved my job at JoJo, but maybe being in Eleanor Mills' "Psychiatrist's Chair" brought up some home truths. I'm now happy and (mostly) relaxed with a cold swim and a busy, bustling life up on our mountain!
